The SJSU Chapter of BMES is proud to announce that a truly impressive ensemble of speakers, representing the multiple facets of biomedical device development, will be speaking at the 2013 Bay Area Biomedical Device Conference. From the brilliant minds of industry professionals, academic professors, and regulatory officials, fresh ideas about current innovations and future developments will be presented to over 250 attendees; each attendee at the Bay Area Biomedical Device Conference will embark on a unique experience only possible at the crossroads of the industrial and academic communities here in the Bay Area.

The conference prides itself on inspiring direct dialog and interaction between outstanding biomedical device professionals, entrepreneurs, innovators, experts, students and faculty focused on challenging and thought provoking material. With as much observable diversity in our attendees as the eclectic speaker list, the Bay Area Biomedical Device Conference fosters an environment of unmatched networking potential in the ever-expansive medical device industry.

The one-day event, overflowing with stimulating content from morning till evening, will be hosted at San Jose State University on March 27th. Featured topics include: Transplantable Organs, Photonics in Medicine, FDA Regulatory Affairs, Personalized Molecular Diagnostics, and Neurally Controlled Devices. In the spirit of this year's conference theme, "Improving the Quality of Life Through Innovation", the conference also welcomes two new professional panels leading discussions on "The Changing Landscape for Medical Devices" and "Healthcare Economics". Attendees can cap off their day with a wine and cheese networking reception, where conversation continues to flourish in a relaxed setting.
