2gether is the UK’s largest digital festival, exploring and celebrating how technology can be used to promote social progress.

It started in the summer 2008 at a lovely Victorian school in Shoreditch, East London

Hundreds of people joined us at 2gether08 over the course of two days of some sunshine and light rain. They arrived from very different worlds; from technology, media, the arts, NGOs, social media experts, campaigners, politicians and entrepreneurs.

Under the framework of a co-created event that combined participant-led content with presentations from the world’s best minds, everyone was there to share: knowledge, ideas, skills and networks. More than that, they came to collaborate and to develop practical solutions to some of our most pressing social issues.
