826 Valencia 1st Annual Festival August 26, 2007

It’s 8/26! Of course we’re having a party. 826 Valencia is proud to announce our fifth anniversary celebration in the Mission Playground. Located half a block from 826 Valencia, the park is the perfect place to honor our students, volunteers, and the larger community with a smorgasbord of activities and entertainment. The festival will offer activities ranging from a dunk tank to cartooning and provide entertainment such as student dance troops, readings, live music and much, much more. Other participants providing activities and entertainment will include APAture, The Mission Learning Center, San Francisco Center for the Book, and parents and volunteers of 826 Valencia. We will also be honoring the accomplishments of our summer students and welcoming everyone back to school. Please join us, and please bring your whole family.
