Curiosity Festival June 7, 2006

the Curiosity Festival, an annual event that cultivates curiosity through storytelling. Curiosity Festival 2006 is being held on Wednesday, June 7th at the Drake Hotel in Toronto. Our theme is Curiosity and we are inviting storytellers to submit short films that explore Curiosity in any genre they feel relevant and compelling. (For more details, please download the Call for Submission PDF.) All qualifying films will be judged by a jury and the top five will be screened at the Curiosity Festival event on June 7th. The top film will receive the Pandora – a cash prize of $5000. Following the event, the Curiosity Festival will continue on-line where the top ten films will be available for screening at www.curiosityfestival.com. Participants in the on-line portion of the Curiosity Festival will be able to cast their vote for their favourite film. The People's Choice film will receive an equipment prize package valued at $2500.
