Introduction to CranioSacral Therapy May 4, 2013

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the function of the CranioSacral System (the physiological body system comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Developed by John Upledger, DO,OMM, this work is used to enhance the body's natural healing processes, to improve the operation of the Central Nervous System, dissipate the effects of stress, enhance general health and strengthen the immune system in its resistance to disease. CranioSacral therapy is highly effective for the treatment and relief of a number of ailments, including: migraine headaches, TMJ syndrome, neck and back pain, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and sciatica.

This introductory course was designed by the Upledger Institute to provide students with hands-on training and a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of CST. For practitioners who wish to continue their CranioSacral training, $125.00 of the tuition for this course may be applied to the Upledger Institute CranioSacral Level I course.
