LaBelle Day Spa fundraiser for Peninsula Community Breast Health Project September 24, 2006

On Sunday, September 24, from 3:30-7:30 pm, LaBelle Day Spas & Salons will throw open its doors at LaBelle's Stanford Shopping Center location to offer complimentary spa sampler services to the public, including eyebrow shaping, lash and brow tinting, makeup applications, exfoliations, polish changes; face, neck and shoulder and hand and feet massages, hair styling, and consultations for skin care, anti-aging treatments, botox, restylane and laser-hair removal. All gratuities will be collected and donated to the Peninsula's Community Breast Health Project, which provides information and support to people touched by breast cancer. The event is being held in honor of the Spa's 30th anniversary.

LaBelle founder Bella Schneider will also be making a personal contribution to the project. Schneider explains, "At LaBelle, we work with women every day, and see them go through life's ups and downs. Breast cancer is something that affects all women at some level, so we wanted to help support this valuable community resource on the occasion of our anniversary".

The staff from all four LaBelle Locations, including physicians, estheticians, hairdressers, skin-care specialists, make-up artists, massage therapists and nail technicians will donate all gratuities to help make the event a profitable one for the charity. Services will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis, delivered in 15- and 30-minute-sessions. Food and beverages will add to the celebratory atmosphere. Volunteers from CBHP will also be on hand to help educate the public about the breast cancer resources they provide and inform the public about their scheduled activities for National Breast Cancer Awareness month in October.
