If you've ever wondered what goes into the creation of attractive, effective, eye-catching tradeshow booths and other spaces, mark Tuesday, Feb. 24 on your calendar, when Larry Dolan and David McLaren will talk to us about their work at ImageCraft Exhibits.

Larry will cover how designs, educational pieces, and interactive displays are chosen for their work on TxDOT Rest Centers and other similar projects. David will speak about how design, color, and materials are chosen for custom tradeshow booths.

David McLaren
David McLaren designs marketing environments for clients whose fields range from the healthcare industry to heavy manufacturing and technology. He has a wealth of knowledge designing trade show exhibits, corporate lobby environments, traveling exhibits, and permanent installations. David has received several Best of Show awards for exhibit designs. Recent client designs include: CSC, Sprint, Orthofix, Bayer, Conoco Phillips, and Wincor Nixdorf.

David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design from Georgia Tech and has worked in the tradeshow industry for the last nine years. Currently he holds the position of Creative Director for Imagecraft Exhibits.

Lawrence Dolan/Project Director
With a degree in architecture and extensive study in the fine arts as an educational background, along with work experience at: The Florida State Museum, E. I. DuPont, IBM and 20 years of Design and Project Management with Exhibitgroup Giltspur, Larry adds great depth to Imagecraft's capabilities.

Since coming to Imagecraft in 2001, he has been responsible for the design, content development, graphic design and coordinating individual project specialty teams, as well as overseeing day-to-day production and the assignment of specific tasks to an array of in-house and vendor talent for numerous museums, showrooms, attractions and real estate marketing centers. Some noteworthy projects, that are a part of his 30 year career include: The Dallas Historical Society's "Catherine the Great", the Museum of Natural History's "Ramses II", the marketing center for the "Gund Arena" in Cleveland, Ohio, The Texas Rangers Learning Center, the Warner Bros. Museum in Burbank, The Phoenix Museum of History, The Texas State Cemetery, The Diagonal Mar Marketing Center in Barcelona Spain, Torre Almirante in Rio de Janeiro and most recently several TxDot Safety Rest Areas.
