i deeply enjoyed translating Adrian Arias' work throughout 2007 from the Blog-as they appeared periodically on my computer screen in arbitrary weeks, consisting of 10,8, and even 3 days. in the intensive revision period of the translation selections before the `08 performance and limited edition publication of the chapbook, I could feel time pass through my fingers on the computer keys and my heart as the days rushed by.
The Red Hill Books reading held for me a warm sense of community: snuggled amidst friends, family, and neighborhood book lovers floating in a wash of Spanish and English words.
