"Rufus will be performing the entire classic 1961 Judy Garland concert with an orchestra at Carnegie Hall on June 14 & 15, 2006."

Man, that is so gay. And yes, I'd go to this in a heartbeat if I was in NYC.

it's not gay. it's rock-n-roll!

it's not rock 'n' roll and it's not gay its just a guy with a good voice singing about men from a womans perspective.............. pussy envy!

Rufus Wainwright is an extremely talented singer-songwriter. I've been a huge fan since his debut, and have seen him (and his dad and sister) perform a number of times.

That said, Rufus Wainwright covering Judy Garland is about as gay as it gets. The self-proclaimed "Gay Messiah" covering one of the gay community's biggest icons? Super-duper gay!

Should be excellent. I know tickets are not readily available online through the Carnegie website. I'll hit the box office.

I waited to get tixs for this and now you can't get 2 seats together for either show! Darn!
