Seafront Skywatch January 28, 2012

Observe the night sky from the battlements of a Napoleonic Fort by kind permission of Eastbourne Borough Council. Guidance will be provided by members of the Eastbourne Astronomical Society.
Observe the crescent Moon and the planets Venus and Jupiter through binoculars and telescopes. Learn to recognise the winter constellations and also to look at galaxies, star clusters and nebulae through telescopes, or slideshows and talks if the weather is unkind to us.
