Polk Street between McAllister and Grove
San Francisco, California 94102

“SEE ME” is a FREE event where families come together to celebrate with their young children with music, arts and other hands-on activities.
The event is at Civic Center Plaza on Polk Street between McAllister and Grove Street. It is right near the Civic Center Bart Station, and easily accessible by bus. It will be held on May 6, 2007(Sunday) from 11am to 3pm.
This year, the focus will be on “Play” since it is such an important theme for young children. Our healthy play-based activities include making your own book; learning to make your own rocket; seeing live animals; trying a quick sports activity, etc. We will have a variety of age appropriate stage performances such as puppet show, music, dance, and story telling for much of the program. We will have various organizations whose focus is on early childhood development and parenting. Many booths will host interactive activities such as parent-child exercises, make-your-own book, and unlimited science and art projects. Last but not least, there will be a lot of free fun activities such as the obstacle course and jumpers!
