Alan Tsuda is an accomplished professional in both the Teaching and Project Management Industries. As the founder of two companies, Altapoint Learning and ResultWorks, that are dedicated to management training, development, and performance improvement, Alan is very familiar with the importance of building strong foundations for companies and individuals.

Also experienced as an Instructor in Project Management for the University of California Extension Berkeley and Santa Cruz as well as a Master Instructor in Instructional Design, Tsuda knows the art of effective communication. He also knows the perils of the workplace, when communication fails to succeed. These two backgrounds, teaching and project management, have inspired Tsuda to assess common plagues of the workplace and develop strategies for overcoming such obstacles.

One way Tsuda hopes to combat such problems is by addressing and unraveling the mysteries of metaphors, specifically the sports metaphors that have inserted themselves into everyday life. Alan Tsuda understands the complexities of American sports and even more notably acknowledges the challenging task of decoding sports talk. With an MBA from the Yale University School of Management and a diverse background in Project Management and Teaching, Tsuda hopes to simplify what might be seemingly cryptic sports jargon. His presentation promises to give an inside glimpse into the world of sports and leave his attendees feeling ready and willing to participate in sports jargon and feel comfortable decoding it.
